Cahaba River Erosion Control

Trussville, Alabama

Cahaba River Society contacted Milam and Company for the erosion dilemma in Trussville. The cahaba river was cutting into the walking path called the Trussville Greenway. The community of Trussville was concerned for the safety of the community because of how close the river was coming to the path. Therefore, it was the city’s goal and our goal to safely and effectively get our heavy equipment out on the greenway without ruining the beautifully paved greenway. Another shared objective was not harming the natural habitat found along the cahaba river. We were happy to help and successfully achieved our two goals.
