Milam and Company completed a 25,000 square foot multi-tenant retail building for us. The project was completed as expected and consisted of all site work, storm drainage, actual building structure, parking lots, landscaping, etc. Essentially, the project included every aspect of preparing this location for retail space to be leased. The Milam crew was a pleasure to work with and successfully met our needs.

In my role as City Manager for the City of Clay, I’ve had several opportunities to utilize the planning, project management, and construction services offered by Milam and Co. In 2017, with the city acting as the GC, using the project management services of Milam, we saved over $800,000.00 on the lowest bid price, and were able to build a new ,state of the art Library for the citizens of Clay and Northeast Jefferson County. In 2018, using the same format the city built a Tennis/Pickleball facility. By using the design team at Milam and city public works employees the city built this facility and saved over $400,000.00.
